The aromatic scent of bay laurel enhances other flavours and spices such as parsley and thyme. Dried bay laurel is widely used in French and Mediterranean cuisine, including French bouillabaisse and bouquet garni. Use bay laurel as a spice stock.
Add bay laurel to stews and soups, tomato sauces, fish and meat dishes, as well as bean and cereal dishes.
Combines very well with allspice, garlic, marjoram, oregano, parsley and thyme.
1 to 2 bay leaves are usually enough for most dishes of 6 servings.
Add bay laurel to a dish early as it takes a while for bay laurel to fully release its flavour. Remove the leaves before serving.
Whole dried laurel leaves. 100% natural and pure.
